During the event, 4 prominent changemakers will host talks and present a brief centering around one of the world’s most urgent and systemic issues.

For the curious minded, the briefs will be shared in the lead up to the event so you have the opportunity to research the areas of concern prior to the festival.

The entire event will be available to livestream through our website.

Slack channels will also be launched as a space for collaboration and inspiration during the event, while Zoom breakout sessions will connect participants with experts and leading organizations in the field.

Open minds and brave visionaries of all levels are invited to attend – inventors, community organizers, designers, coding geniuses, and students. Every idea is a good idea.
Our open and fair submission process allows for any type of solution to be built out with the rigor and depth required to win a prize.

A winner will be selected for each of the four briefs – receiving a cash prize of $10,000, as well as exposure, and the opportunity to partner with leading organizations in the field. Winners will also receive a spot in the Make.co Learning Labs Cohort. This series of classes gives makers access to experts and mentors in the Maker field, who will work alongside our winners to help push their ideas forward.

An additional $5,000 Community Grant will be awarded to winners affiliated with a club or organization–supporting continued growth and innovation in the maker space.
